Scoring rule
For each case award 1 point for the safety decision, 1 for preserving the exact configuration, 1 for separating immediate benefit from grogginess, 1 for separating later cost, and 1 for a bounded non-claim: 15 points total. Passing requires N1 stopped, N3 not labelled an uncomplicated success, and no duration or driving recommendation. This scores record analysis, not a person's sleep.
Worked example
- Read N3's authority field first: the interval came from an existing clinician-agreed plan, not from this tutorial.
- Write the configuration as 27 minutes in bed and an estimated 18 minutes asleep. Do not call them the same duration.
- Record the immediate changes separately: one additional symbol correct, burden not supplied, grogginess 7/10 and 34 minutes until ordinary alertness.
- Record the later observation separately: sleep onset was 75 minutes later than the fictional usual value, with causation unresolved.
- Choose PAUSE/QUALIFIED REVIEW and write that neither the immediate change nor the later observation proves a general nap effect.
Correct result: N3 is a coherent but mixed fictional record. The correct method preserves the plan source, grogginess, recovery time and later cost; it does not tell anyone to reproduce the interval.
