APPENDICES

Appendix G: Meditation

Optional brief attention practice

No meditation practice is required. If a reader freely chooses one, it may be as brief as is comfortable, use eyes open or closed, and use any safe posture or neutral external cue. There is no timer, daily minimum, progression, retreat, or requirement to continue through resistance.

Do not practise while driving or during a task that requires external attention. Stop for pain, panic, dissociation, worsening mood, agitation, unusual perceptual experience, sleep disruption, rumination, or distress. Persistent or serious effects require qualified assessment.

Record only whether the chosen practice was acceptable and whether it served the declared task. Calm, insight, reduced reactivity, cumulative benefit, and transfer are not promised. External named review of this appendix remains open.
