Staged checking material

Answer key

  1. N1 is STOP AND MAKE SAFE. The approaching drive and severe sleepiness take priority; no nap or benign task can provide driving clearance.
  2. N2 is suitable for BOUNDED REVIEW as a quiet-rest record. It keeps time in the chair separate from sleep, records a narrow immediate change and shows no supplied later cost. It does not recommend 20 minutes.
  3. N3 requires CAUTIOUS QUALIFIED REVIEW or PAUSE rather than a keep decision. A one-item task change coexists with marked grogginess, a 34-minute recovery period and later sleep onset. The record does not establish that the nap caused the later change.
  4. UNKNOWN fields stay unknown. No row establishes a universal duration, treatment effect, restored cognition or safety for hazardous work.

Scoring rule

For each case award 1 point for the safety decision, 1 for preserving the exact configuration, 1 for separating immediate benefit from grogginess, 1 for separating later cost, and 1 for a bounded non-claim: 15 points total. Passing requires N1 stopped, N3 not labelled an uncomplicated success, and no duration or driving recommendation. This scores record analysis, not a person's sleep.

Authority boundary: Titan teaches a complete Power-specific research method because operational capability practice is not currently justified.
