Appendix I: Temperature Exposure Boundary
Exertion boundary. If physical, cognitive or emotional effort reliably makes you worse afterwards — particularly when the worsening is delayed by hours or days and takes a long time to pass — do not begin this material. Read section 5.7.1 first. The method used here is not safe for you and the general safety screen was not written to detect that.
Titan does not provide a self-directed cold-immersion, outdoor-cold, extreme-heat, contrast-cycle or rewarming progression. Colder, hotter and longer are not higher capability. Hyperventilation, breath-hold and multi-day fasting schedules are not part of Titan.
Anyone considering temperature exposure must follow the Safety Screen and current qualified guidance, never combine breath holds or hyperventilation with water, never practise alone around open water, and stop for uncontrolled gasping, faintness, confusion, chest symptoms, skin colour change, numbness, visual change, loss of coordination or distress. Cardiovascular, neurological, pregnancy, medication and temperature-sensitivity concerns route to an appropriate professional.
The honest Titan route is a predeclared, low-risk task whose direct outcome can be measured without rewarding more exposure. No temperature protocol is required for Core or Capability progress.
