PART 4: IMPLEMENTATION

4.6 QUICK REFERENCE GUIDES

The following guides provide brief educational prompts for common situations. Adapt them to the person, context and current qualified guidance; they do not replace emergency, clinical, legal or financial procedures.

4.6.1 Daily Optimization Checklist

MORNING OPTIONS □ Protect a feasible wake routine □ Use ordinary daylight when available □ Drink and eat according to need □ Move if helpful and safe □ Review one to three priorities. Titan sets no immediate-fluid dose, caffeine delay, movement duration or protein breakfast.

Focused-work option: schedule a bounded interval when alertness, obligations and access permit; reduce optional interruptions and include movement or rest according to need. No 9 AM–noon window or 90-minute block is required.

Later-day option: use nourishment, movement, caffeine and task selection according to the person and context. Titan sets no ten-to-fifteen-minute walk, 2 PM cutoff or universal afternoon dip.

EVENING OPTIONS □ Protect enough sleep opportunity □ Reduce avoidable stimulation when helpful □ Make the environment comfortable and accessible □ Follow individual food, medication and clinical needs. Exact meal cutoffs, screen bans, temperatures and bedtimes are not universal.

4.6.2 Immediate Support and Professional Routing

This book cannot diagnose or treat a panic attack, insomnia, acute injury or medical emergency. In immediate danger, or for chest pain, fainting, severe breathlessness, sudden neurological symptoms, major injury, suicidal thoughts or another emergency, contact local emergency services. Do not drive or perform safety-critical work while dangerously impaired.

If distress is present but there is no immediate danger, move to a safer setting, reduce demands, use ordinary comfortable breathing and contact a trusted person or qualified professional. Persistent panic, sleep difficulty, pain or functional deterioration needs appropriate assessment. Titan does not prescribe breath holds, forced counting, stimulus-control or sleep-restriction treatment, medication, ice/compression treatment or a return-to-activity timeline in this guide.

4.6.3 Travel Safety and Continuity

Preserve medication safety, adequate sleep opportunity, ordinary hydration and movement as comfort and transport rules allow. Do not use forced phase shifting, deliberate sleep loss, supplement dosing or a universal fluid target from this book. Persistent jet lag, sleep disorder symptoms, pregnancy, medication questions, clotting risk or significant health concerns route to current travel-health or clinical guidance.

Fatigue rules override optimisation: do not drive, cycle, operate machinery or perform safety-critical work when dangerously sleepy. A simple travel plan can identify the destination time zone, protected sleep opportunity, essential medication and accessibility needs, emergency contacts and one low-burden routine to maintain.

4.6.4 Pre-Workout Ritual

PRE-TRAINING FOOD: eat according to appetite, session demands, gastrointestinal tolerance, health and the agreed nutrition plan. Fasted training and a fixed two-hour meal are not required.

BEFORE TRAINING: review the task and stop rule, use food and fluid as needed, and avoid any stimulant or supplement that is unsuitable or unreviewed. Titan prescribes no caffeine dose, electrolyte volume or visualisation requirement.

10 MINUTES BEFORE • Dynamic warm-up: Joint circles, leg swings, arm circles • Activation: Glute bridges, band pull-aparts, core activation • Nervous system priming: 3-5 jumps or explosive movements

IMMEDIATELY BEFORE • Final mental cue: One word or phrase for session focus • One deep breath; begin

4.6.5 Pre-Deep Work Ritual

15 MINUTES BEFORE • Clear workspace of distractions • Close all unnecessary tabs and applications • Phone in another room or airplane mode • Water and any needed materials ready • Bathroom break

5 MINUTES BEFORE • Review one task in writing • Breathe ordinarily and remain comfortable • Set a feasible timer • Commit to the declared task and stop rule

DURING • Single task only—no switching • If thought/distraction arises, write it down to address later • Every 25 minutes: Brief pause, few breaths (don’t check phone) • If stuck: Write about being stuck; often unlocks progress

AFTER • 10-15 minute break before next session • Movement during break (walk, stretch) • Brief reward (coffee, snack, sunlight) • Review: What did I accomplish? What’s next?

4.6.6 Social Event Optimization

PRE-EVENT • Eat substantial meal before (prevents blood sugar crash, reduces alcohol absorption) • Set intention: Why are you going? Connection? Business? Fun? • Set time limit: Know when you’re leaving before you arrive • Have exit phrase ready: “I have an early morning” works universally

DURING EVENT • Lead with questions (people like talking about themselves) • Quality over quantity: 3 meaningful conversations > 10 superficial ones • Drink water between any alcoholic drinks • Position near edge of room (easier to disengage when needed) • Take breaks: Bathroom, step outside, brief alone time

ALCOHOL RISK BOUNDARY • No drinking pace, drink type, water ratio, clock cutoff or event maximum is universally safe • The lowest-risk option is not to drink • Never drive or perform hazardous work after drinking • Follow current local guidance and individual medical restrictions.

POST-EVENT • Note any valuable connections immediately (phone notes) • Hydrate before bed • Maintain next-day sleep time (don’t sleep in to “recover”) • Light morning movement helps if you overindulged
