Memory Mastery & Learning

Episodic, semantic, procedural, perceptual and motor learning, accelerated acquisition and long-term retention.

Canonical-unit rule: open each canonical Power unit in the declared order. Complete only lessons whose current treatment authorises practice. Evidence, specialist, research, restricted and status records never become self-training merely because they appear in a pathway.

You can remove, reorder or combine its units with any other Powers in Cockpit.

Canonical Power units

Unit 1 · TLU-PWR-105Self-guided lesson

PWR-105 · Episodic memory

This pack supplies one benign fictional event, a cover-and-recall procedure and an objective source key. It practises recall of who, what, where and when without asking for autobiographical disclosure. Read or listen to the event once, hide it, recall freely, then answer neutral prompts before checking the source. Correct details, omissions and intrusions are separate measures; confidence does not turn a memory into evidence. Never substitute a traumatic event, real dispute, eyewitness account, allegation or another person’s private life. Do not use this exercise to recover hidden memories or settle what happened. Stop if uncertainty triggers distress, conflict, repeated checking or pressure to invent an answer. Concerning memory change, trauma-related material or functional impairment belongs with an appropriate professional. A neutral text, audio version, assistive recall method or non-participation is valid.

Unit 2 · TLU-PWR-106Self-guided lesson

PWR-106 · Semantic memory

This self-guided pack uses eight invented museum terms so every fact has a stable answer and no prior expertise is needed. First test the terms before studying. Then retrieve each definition, check the supplied answer immediately, and answer a simple application question. A delayed T+3-day test is included as this pack’s declared interval; it is an example configuration, not a universal schedule. Text, audio, enlarged cards and external memory aids are valid when declared. The score measures retention and application of this small fictional codebook. It does not establish expertise, judgment, intelligence, clinical memory health or the ability to apply real museum rules. Never use remembered material from this pack for medication, legal, safety or other high-stakes decisions. Stop if tracking becomes distressing or compulsive, and route concerning memory or learning difficulty affecting daily function to an appropriate professional.

Unit 3 · TLU-PWR-107Full low-stakes tutorial

PWR-107 · Procedural learning

The learner completes the six-step packet procedure twice accurately after a delay, then completes it with a new set of cards while errors, time and prompts are recorded.

Unit 4 · TLU-PWR-108Full research tutorial

PWR-108 · Motor learning

This is a static motor-learning evidence worksheet. It contains fictional error counts from completed research tasks; it does not ask the learner to perform a movement, practise a sequence, use a device or test pain. Immediate improvement, delayed retention and novel-task transfer must be calculated separately. A sleep interval label does not prove that sleep installed a skill, and a closely timed competing task can coincide with interference rather than accelerated learning. Faster or lower-error performance on one fixture cannot establish safe rehabilitation, sport, work or universal movement transfer. No practical task or protocol is authorised here.

Unit 5 · TLU-PWR-109Full low-stakes tutorial

PWR-109 · Perceptual learning

The learner completes baseline, feedback practice, delayed test and one new-line-length transfer test while accuracy, errors, response time, viewing conditions and strain are recorded.

Unit 6 · TLU-PWR-110Self-guided lesson

PWR-110 · Accelerated skill acquisition

This pack turns skill acquisition into a small, observable drawing task. The target is one continuous line through six labelled dots on a four-by-four grid. You will make one baseline attempt, practise three components with immediate checking, reintegrate the whole glyph and try one mirrored variation. Accuracy, not speed, is the criterion. The task is deliberately harmless and narrow: improvement cannot show that someone learns everything faster, has mastered drawing or should compress practice. Use a finger trace, tablet, keyboard-entered waypoint list, adapted grip or fictional completed log if drawing is inaccessible. Stop when attention, technique or comfort deteriorates, or if the exercise becomes a productivity race or repeated self-comparison. Safety-critical, clinical, legal, financial or professional procedures require qualified instruction and their own competency standards; this glyph cannot stand in for them.

Unit 7 · TLU-PWR-111Self-guided lesson

PWR-111 · Long-term retention

This pack is a small within-person comparison, not a promise to make learning permanent. Two matched sets each contain six invented word–symbol pairs. A coin flip assigns one set to retrieval-plus-feedback and the other to equal-time restudy before any results are known. Both sets receive the same initial study time and equal three-minute review windows at T+10 minutes and T+24 hours. At T+72 hours, test all twelve prompts in mixed order without warming up. The 72-hour interval is this exercise’s declared configuration, not a universally best spacing rule. Record cues, assistance, missed reviews and burden. The difference may be informative for these arbitrary items, but small sets can differ by chance. The result cannot establish lifelong memory, intelligence, transfer or a cognitive diagnosis. Stop if the schedule becomes distressing, compulsive or an indefinite streak; formal assessment or concerning memory change requires an appropriate professional.

Unit 8 · TLU-PWR-112Full supervised tutorial

PWR-112 · Reacquisition and reconsolidation

The learner completes a provider-run neutral symbol-key relearning task and correctly reports trials-to-criterion as reacquisition without claiming that reconsolidation occurred.

Pathway framework

  1. Orient
Read the scope, prerequisites and authority treatment.
  2. Traverse
Open each canonical Power unit in order.
  3. Integrate
Connect permitted lessons without enlarging their claims.
  4. Transfer
Use predeclared contexts and record limitations.
  5. Maintain
Review, retain, retire or seek qualified support.

Pathway completion record

Record which canonical units were opened, which governed lessons were completed, which were explanation-only, and what transfer or maintenance decision followed. Pathway completion does not create validation, qualification or promotion.
