The learner completes six signal–interpretation–action–later-check records and shows whether confidence tracks the usefulness of the chosen interpretation.
This dossier explains the evidence and its limits. It is not a diagnosis, personal recommendation, assessment, clearance, performance promise or training programme. Actionable teaching appears only when the canonical Power record explicitly authorises it.
Complete bounded explanation
What this power means.
Capability to develop or express interoceptive accuracy in a declared context without inheriting broader claims.
What the current evidence supports
Interoceptive accuracy is real but difficult to measure. Heartbeat counting is heavily contaminated by expectation, and training has not yet shown reliable cross-task or real-world transfer.
How to observe or measure it without overclaiming
Use multiple validated channel-specific discrimination/detection tasks plus confidence and symptoms; never treat heartbeat counting or a wearable agreement score as a universal interoception measure.
Myth
Perfect inner radar
Metric
Convergent accuracy across independent channel-specific tasks plus calibrated confidence
Boundary
One heartbeat-counting score does not diagnose the body, prove emotional mastery or authorise ignoring symptoms.
Negative and limiting findings
Heartbeat-counting scores dropped sharply when non-sensory estimation was restricted.
Immediate and delayed feedback improved counting similarly, implicating beliefs.
Experienced meditators were not objectively better at heartbeat detection despite greater confidence.
Training-related change did not transfer from counting to discrimination.
Claims this evidence cannot support
Read every body signal perfectly
Heartbeat counting diagnoses health
Meditation guarantees superior interoception
Provoke stress or symptoms to train accuracy

How to learn this Power now.
The learner completes six signal–interpretation–action–later-check records and shows whether confidence tracks the usefulness of the chosen interpretation.
Get readyChoose a signal that is already mild, familiar and safe to notice; do not choose chest pain, faintness, severe breathlessness, hunger/fullness when clinically unsafe, or escalating distress.
Learn the method6 concrete steps teach the permitted method from start to finish.
See right and wrong4 comparisons show correct or safer execution beside common wrong or riskier choices.
PractiseComplete at most one record a day on six non-consecutive days. Then review confidence bands once; do not increase monitoring frequency or intensity. Repeat a six-record block only if the process reduces confusion without increasing distress or checking.
Check progressFor low, medium and high confidence bands, count records in which the chosen reversible action was later judged useful on the predeclared functional check; retain unresolved and adverse records.
Authority boundary: Titan teaches a concrete low-stakes method step by step while keeping evidence and transfer claims bounded. The method is Power-specific; its actionability follows this treatment.
Citation roles are explicit. A source may support existence or trainability while simultaneously limiting transfer, certainty, generalisation or safety.

External confirmation is required before higher-authority use because: a clinical, high-risk or regulated configuration; a restricted safety or legitimacy boundary.
A Power-specific tutorial is available at /tutorials/pwr-087/. It contains a plain-English method, 6 ordered steps, a worked example, right-versus-wrong comparisons, specific mistakes and corrections, practice, measurement, accessibility, stopping rules and evidence. Its self guided mode remains controlling.
