Gold pathway · G-CUR-004

Breathing, Arousal & Recovery

Breathing, arousal regulation, stress recovery, naps and recovery forecasting, with clinical/specialist branches separated.

Canonical-unit rule: open each canonical Power unit in the declared order. Complete only lessons whose current treatment authorises practice. Evidence, specialist, research, restricted and status records never become self-training merely because they appear in a pathway.

Add this pathway as a starting point
You can remove, reorder or combine its units with any other Powers in Cockpit.

Canonical Power units

Unit 1 · TLU-PWR-041Full low-stakes tutorial

PWR-041 · Voluntary breathing regulation

The learner completes one two-minute gentle longer-exhale trial while breathing comfortably, counts the rate consistently and records comfort before and after.

Tutorial mode: self guided

Capability self-practice: Permitted inside the tutorial's stated low-risk limits

Teaching: Full Power-specific tutorial available

Unit 2 · TLU-PWR-042Full research tutorial

PWR-042 · Autonomic arousal downregulation

This is a static research-lens exercise, not an autonomic-regulation guide. It supplies every fictional signal and threshold needed to classify four records. Do not change breathing, stare at a display, induce arousal, use a wearable, seek a lower heart-related value or treat the rows as personal targets. Respiratory pattern, pupil diameter, heart-rate variability, subjective arousal and task accuracy are non-equivalent. Several may move together, separately or in opposite directions. A configured short-term pattern does not prove emotion, safety, judgment, treatment effect, unique superiority, retention or durable real-world control. No practical biofeedback or regulation method is authorised here.

Tutorial mode: research exploration

Capability self-practice: No operational capability self-practice; research practicum available

Teaching: Full Power-specific tutorial available

Unit 3 · TLU-PWR-043Full supervised tutorial

PWR-043 · Thermoregulatory influence

Under biofeedback-clinician control, the participant completes matched baseline, display-guided and hidden-display hand-warming intervals with a calibrated finger-temperature trace and no cold or heat exposure.

Tutorial mode: supervised

Capability self-practice: Qualified supervision is required for the practical method

Teaching: Full Power-specific tutorial available

Unit 4 · TLU-PWR-044Full supervised tutorial

PWR-044 · Cardiovascular response regulation

With a clinician or trained provider, you recognise a personal warning, get into the agreed safe position, perform the selected manoeuvre without breath holding and escalate when symptoms do not clear.

Tutorial mode: supervised

Capability self-practice: Qualified supervision is required for the practical method

Teaching: Full Power-specific tutorial available

Unit 5 · TLU-PWR-045Full research tutorial

PWR-045 · Voluntary pupil modulation

The learner produces a two-study methods table and a justified conclusion separating direct voluntary control, feedback-assisted change, retention and practical value.

Tutorial mode: research

Capability self-practice: Research method only; no operational self-experiment

Teaching: Full Power-specific tutorial available

Unit 6 · TLU-PWR-046Full research tutorial

PWR-046 · Voluntary piloerection

The learner builds an evidence map that identifies who already had the ability, how piloerection was verified, which confounds were controlled and what a trainability study would need.

Tutorial mode: research

Capability self-practice: Research method only; no operational self-experiment

Teaching: Full Power-specific tutorial available

Unit 7 · TLU-PWR-047Full research tutorial

PWR-047 · Stress-state recovery

This tutorial teaches how to read a sparse fictional post-event time course. You will apply three declared bands, find the first sampled row that satisfies each band and report the first sampled row where all three are simultaneously in band. Because nothing was measured between rows, you must not call that timestamp the exact recovery time or use it for readiness.

Tutorial mode: research exploration

Capability self-practice: No operational capability self-practice; research practicum available

Teaching: Full Power-specific tutorial available

Unit 8 · TLU-PWR-048Full supervised tutorial

PWR-048 · Closed-loop physiological biofeedback

In a qualified session, Jo completes baseline, feedback, correction and display-hidden blocks for one declared signal with artefacts and symptoms recorded.

Tutorial mode: supervised

Capability self-practice: Qualified supervision is required for the practical method

Teaching: Full Power-specific tutorial available

Unit 9 · TLU-PWR-049Full supervised tutorial

PWR-049 · Sleep initiation

The learner follows the provider-agreed bedtime response for seven nights and records sleep-onset latency, adherence, next-day function and adverse effects.

Tutorial mode: supervised

Capability self-practice: Qualified supervision is required for the practical method

Teaching: Full Power-specific tutorial available

Unit 10 · TLU-PWR-050Full supervised tutorial

PWR-050 · Sleep continuity

Across seven nights, Leah uses one insomnia-clinician-set response and reports wake-after-sleep-onset, remembered awakenings, suspected causes, adherence and next-day function without relying on tracker stages.

Tutorial mode: supervised

Capability self-practice: Qualified supervision is required for the practical method

Teaching: Full Power-specific tutorial available

Unit 11 · TLU-PWR-051Full supervised tutorial

PWR-051 · Circadian phase alignment

The learner completes a 14-day timing record and follows a provider-set light and wake schedule with adherence, sleep timing and daytime function measured.

Tutorial mode: supervised

Capability self-practice: Qualified supervision is required for the practical method

Teaching: Full Power-specific tutorial available

Unit 12 · TLU-PWR-052Full research tutorial

PWR-052 · Nap efficiency

This tutorial teaches how to read a completed fictional nap-or-quiet-rest record. You will check the safety gate, reconstruct what was actually done, separate immediate change from grogginess and later sleep cost, and choose a cautious next-step label. You will not take a nap, change a sleep schedule, test alertness for driving or copy a duration. The lesson is a record-analysis and decision-safety method only.

Tutorial mode: research exploration

Capability self-practice: No operational capability self-practice; research practicum available

Teaching: Full Power-specific tutorial available

Unit 13 · TLU-PWR-053Full safety and decision tutorial

PWR-053 · Function under partial sleep loss

For Cards A, B and C, a learner builds an accurate three-column duty matrix, names one failure consequence per action, assigns supplied rested checker or replacement, preserves alert ride plus recovery block, and activates a prewritten transfer when each scenario reveals its error cue. Nobody reproduces fictional short sleep.

Tutorial mode: restricted

Capability self-practice: Safe response and decision method only; prohibited act excluded

Teaching: Full Power-specific tutorial available

Unit 14 · TLU-PWR-055Full low-stakes tutorial

PWR-055 · Recovery forecasting

The learner completes ten prospective predictions for the supplied 60-second code-check cards and reports signed error, mean absolute error, prediction-band calibration and whether one revised rule helped on fresh cards.

Tutorial mode: self guided

Capability self-practice: Permitted inside the tutorial's stated low-risk limits

Teaching: Full Power-specific tutorial available

Unit 15 · TLU-PWR-056Full safety and decision tutorial

PWR-056 · Wakefulness stabilisation

The learner completes the correct response to three fictional sleepiness scenarios, including driving, work and persistent unexplained sleepiness. The learner also classifies the onset pattern and routes sudden or medically concerning loss of wakefulness without treating it as routine fatigue.

Tutorial mode: restricted

Capability self-practice: Safe response and decision method only; prohibited act excluded

  2. Traverse
Open each canonical Power unit in order.
  3. Integrate
Connect permitted lessons without enlarging their claims.

Pathway completion record

Record which canonical units were opened, which governed lessons were completed, which were explanation-only, and what transfer or maintenance decision followed. Pathway completion does not create validation, qualification or promotion.
