Answer key
- Trial A has 23 correct, 6 errors and 29 attempted cards. Error rate is 6/29 = 20.7% after rounding; burden rises 3→4→6→8.
- Trial B has 22 correct, 2 errors and 24 attempted cards. Error rate is 2/24 = 8.3%; burden is 2→3→4→5 and a 15-second pause occurs inside the same total clock.
- B has one fewer correct card, four fewer errors and a 12.4-percentage-point lower error rate in the supplied data. The active-opportunity difference prevents a simple output-rate comparison.
- The correct conclusion is descriptive: this fictional B record trades one correct card for fewer errors and lower burden. The table does not establish that the pacing change caused the pattern.
- No symptom or delayed-worsening field is supplied beyond burden, so the data cannot establish safety or a real pacing recommendation.
Scoring rule
Award 2 points each for correct A totals, correct B totals, both attempt denominators, both error rates, accurate curve description, explicit burden treatment, active-opportunity caveat and a bounded non-causal conclusion: 16 total. Passing requires A=23/6/29/20.7%, B=22/2/24/8.3% and no claim that B proves a universally better pacing strategy.
Authority boundary: Titan teaches a complete Power-specific research method because operational capability practice is not currently justified.
